The only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to the identification and preservation of Watt Pottery.

Commemorative orders are now closed

Auction consignments are now closed

Convention registration is still available

Since the WCA board has made the very difficult decision to dissolve the WCA, we have also decided to not accept any more membership fees. This means that if your dues are paid through any month in 2017, you will be able to register for convention and will receive the final issue of Watt’s News in the summer of 2017. This is traditionally the issue that recaps all of the fun from convention.

If you know of a former WCA member whose membership has lapsed and might want to attend the final convention and/or receive the final Watt’s News, please ask them to contact the membership chair for details on what they need to do to bring their membership into 2017. We are not accepting any new members, but a lapsed membership can be reactivated.

To All Watt Collectors Association Members:

Following our review of survey sheets, brainstorming, research with other clubs, and several board meetings, as to how the club might survive, we the Board have voted to dissolve the Watt Collectors Association.

Our twenty-fifth and final club convention will be May 25, 26, & 27 of 2017 in Wausau Wisconsin. We will have a wonderful convention and I do hope that you will all come and have an enjoyable time.

Richard Houghton

Upcoming events

We will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the WCA in 2017!

The 2017 WCA Convention will be held from May 25th-27th in Wausau, WI.  Our annual conventions are a weekend of learning about Watt Pottery, making and refreshing friendships, buying and selling Watt Pottery, social events, and our auction. If you haven't attended one before, please make plans to join us.  If you have attended any before, you know how much fun we have, so plan to attend again...and bring a friend!

Check out photos from the 2016 convention on the Convention Information page to see some of the fun we had!

The 2015 WCA Convention will be held in Eau Claire, WI from May 21-24, 2015. This is the only place where you will be able to see over a thousand pieces of Watt pottery all in one place! You will have a chance to view many rare and one of a kind pieces along with just the piece you may be looking to add to your collection. You will meet many WCA members, some who have been collecting and loving their Watt collection for decades, and others who are just starting to collect. You will be able to learn about the history of Watt pottery as well as learning how to tell the real thing from the reproductions.  And be among the first WCA members to see the 2015 Commemorative revealed. Please join us for a weekend of fun....and bring a friend too!
